My $.02:
If you are or were military, or know a soldier/sailor, USE USAA.
Like most car buying services, they guarantee the lowest price, and they ship from any place in the country once you've decided on which actual Jeep you want. Mine was $17,500 drive away.
I have an X, but I pay $252.00 a month for it (NFCU). For the $15,000 difference, I'm building my Jeep how I want it. ('cept I'm still broke)
Navy Federal Credit Union has the same service if you're a sailor/vet.

Go to carsdirect.com. Right now it says a base Rubicon should be $28,030.

Yep... ordered my '09 Rubi Unlimited on 27 Mar 09 and ended up getting it for $23,400 + TTL.

I bought my 09Rubi this last January. 2 Dr loaded, Mygig, Deep ocean blue. MSRP was $32500 and I paid $27500 including tax and tags. I beleive I got employee pricing and rebates taken off from there. Loyalty dollars too. AND 0% interest for 4 years. It was a total no brainer for me!

i bought my 2010 rubi friday started at 35k friends and family brought it to like 29.5k then 750 rebate + 500 military disc + 1000 in vouchers he had brought it to 27.5ish plus i bought the life time bumper to bumper for the 2500 so i ended up paying 29.5ish out the door tagged and taxed,. i kno my math didnt add up but im no mathematician. just throwing my 2 cents worth out there but no they wont budge much on the new ones i figured i could get em down more but the most they could do was give me more for my trade in wich was good

Doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. MSRP on a 2 door with the options I want is around $32k...I'll be trading in as well. I'm hoping to do something around the beginning of the year, should be closed on my house by next month.
