How many keys?
Ok, another stupid question....
My jeep only came with one key, and the dealer says it'll cost me $100 to get another one made. Every automobile I've ever bought came with two keys (even my Pontiac, which also required these stupid overpriced immobilizer keys). Do I really only get one? Shouldn't it come with two keys?

you're jeep came with two keys. they lost one, or are keeping it to go joyriding while you are sleeping.

They definitely come with 2 - my dealer "lost one" and had to order in a blank and take care of it.
Be stern and don't pay for something you already "paid" for.

2. Tell them to get you another at their expense. (They should anyway)

2 keys is standard. Are you checking your odometer readings to see if there are any extra miles added that you aren't aware of?
I'll try and find something in the literature that states that 2 is the norm and if I do, I'll get back to you.Cali

Two keys are standard. It's somewhat stated in the manual where you need the two keys that came with your Jeep to make duplicates. That alone should be enough proof that there should be two keys.

Yes, two keys is the standard, but I'm kinda bummed that there is no "valet key" provided (only starts the car, does not access glovebox or center console).
