I was planning to do an oil analysis on my 1st oil change on my 2012 JK. I wrote Chrysler and asked them if I could identify any potential issues on the Pentastar cylinder head by doing an oil analysis and they told me I would not be able to identify anything. I thought I was going too far and obsessive. Now I see I was not! I will do an oil analysis next time when I will make my second oil change.

Nope none taken. My dad is the one that taught me to do this ( we check robot gearboxes for impending doom). We live in America and everyone is entitled to his or her own beliefs no matter how compulsive they are.

16 000 miles and running strong no issues with the engine at all. I switched to synthetic oil at the first oil change and I just did my second.

There's a casting flaw in the early heads. He's assuming all heads were created equal(ly poorly).
