2007 Wranglers some will need a software update to make the steering wheel dance possible.

Also you can turn the steering wheel from 180-270 degrees, it has to see 180 or more degrees of turn.
Aeroforce turns everything off, fyi.

Your profile shows you have a JKU.
Do you have a 4X4 or a 4X2?

Are you talking about the AeroForce Interceptor gauge?

Do it right the first time or don't do it at all.

I just turned of my esp by using the aero force gauge. The jeep had to be running to do so, the only thing is I had a lot of lights turn on once I did this. ESP off light, ESP activation light, parking brake light, abs light. So It worked! But I had a Christmas tree of lights on my dash.

Do it right the first time or don't do it at all.

Some 2007 Wranglers did not have the ability to fully disable ESP, they needed to have a software update done by the dealer to enable the "steering wheel dance" procedure.

2007 was the first model year of the JK, that's when they realized people lifting jeeps and putting on bigger tires were having issues with the ESP.

Lifts and tires don't cause ESP problems.

Improperly aligned suspension components and steering wheels cause ESP problems.

I have a 4x4. Like I noted, I can hold down the button while in 4H and the ESP disable shows up on the dash. My question was if it is possible to disable it while in two wheel drive?

Thanks...

Im new at this stuff, if i were to put in lockers, what would i do with traction control, would it still be all hooked up except to the axle so the computer never senses slip so the tc never kicks on?

Just in case anyone hasn't been able to accomplish this yet I have just done it and it works in 2wheel drive. I followed everyone's posts but had to use a watch which I placed on the dash have to hold for exactly 7seconds you will get a beep at 5 secs then one when let go at 7 seconds. It only took me months to figure this out. Now does anyone know how to turn of the ESP light I don't need that on while driving. But it does tell me ESP off after all the warning lights go off one it is started
