Ya wow, I found a sweet hill last night that I have never been on before and probably shouldnt have tried but what the hell I had the itch.

It had to be a good 60 degrees. Ive climbed some hills in my 03 TJ, but this was much steeper than any of those.

I was a little scared at first, but man that 4:1 and lockers is uncalled for. I think it could do an 89 degree angle without touching the gas pedal.

Im going out tomorrow to run that hill in the daylight and with a buddy(my old TJ) I will try and post pics.

There is also another hill there thats even steeper that I dont think I have the stones for. Anyone have pics of steep hill climbs in 4 doors? How steep yu think you can go before possibly backflipping?

Going to Moab next Thursday. We'll see what a stock Rubi Unlimited will do. Will take pics...good, bad or ugly.

Bofer,
Yea I'm still in the SC Upstate (Greenville) area. Send me a PM sometime and as soon as my rig arrives and you get up here I can show you around a few places. It's not the best wheeling but some fun stuff still exist on the roads the Gov hasn't closed down.
You're right, Lake Keowee is a beautiful place, almost as nice as Jocassee! How long have you had a place on Keowee? It's made lots of changes in the last 5 or so years.

The 2007 JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon just set a new world record as climbing the highest altitude, a Volcano well above 20,000 feet. That's Jeep.

Read about it here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f58/only-jeep-new-world-height-record-w-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-rubicon-384191/#post3410249

That's "capable." Any more questions?
