It really depends on what you do with it. If the roughest service it sees is the speed bumps in a school zone your priorities are going to be quite a bit different than those of someone headed to MOAB.

yes, funny...speed bumps. Hardcore. There is a guy near me who drives around here with a snorkel on his new rubicon. That's it, nothing else. I'm sure going back and forth to the racquet ball club is about it for him.

Actually So Cal Jeep trails, Desert, Death Valley and the occasional trip to Moab. I just try not to scratch my Sahara decal. All my buds say lockers. Don't know if its worth the 2G. Haven't got stuck yet...

Got the Sahara (new) in 2008 for 23K new from dealer, last 2008 on the lot. Have put about 10K into it.

Driving by all the Hummers, Escalades, Ford Escapes, Chevy Tahoe's and even, yes, a Prius (not kidding) with popped tires, broken axles, cracked oil pans on the trails we've gone to makes we want to make sure that never happens to us.

Thanks for the advice about shafts, that was on my list...and just added a skid plate to the evap. can.
