Hitch wiring harness...

Do i need to buy the mopar one or can i save 25 bucks and get the rugged ridge one. I am getting the curt hitch.

I know they dont but do I have to splice any wires or stuff with the other one. I know the mopar one is plug and play. The rugged ridge one has the same plugs but I think you have to find a suitable ground where as the mopar one is all plug and play...

I have this one from Qtec Hidden Hitch 118416 - Hidden Hitch T-One Connector Assembly for 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec is plug and play and works perfectly.

Yes I have the hidden hitch brand hitch also works perfectly. Got it at Qtec also Hidden Hitch 87424 - Hidden Hitch Class III 2" Receiver Hitch for 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Awesome. thanks. one more ?? what did you do with the wiring since there is no spot to mount it on the hidden hitch?

I used a few zip ties mounting the wires on top of the steel so not to cut the wires while off road. I have pulled trailer with it a few times and everything works well.

I have the Rugged Ridge trailer hitch and the Mopar harness and everything works perfectly. Plug and play and the harness has the plastic tabs on it to attach it to the frame.
