Highway cruising revs for stock 2012 rubicon 2-door owners (4:10 gearing)

Do you guys know/remember what your revs were at stock, going 60, 65, or 70 on the highway?

I'm reving around 2,900 at 70 mph and 2,800 at 65 mph. I just thought that was kind if high because the thing will rev up to 3,200~ at the slightest incline.
Or am I dumb and this is normal?

It's normal. On my rubi, Same thing. Part of the reason I just bought bigger tires. It's because you have 4:10 gearing and (legally) *lol* at no time, should you need to pass 65-70. It enjoys about 60 ... past that and you can see your fuel go wayyyy down :/ sorry

Based on the gear chart that has been posted, at 70 mph you should be around 2500 rpm for an auto and about 100 less if you have the manual. Assuming 32 inch tires.

Here is the chart that Invest2m4 is referring to. It all depends on your tire size. You should be around 2500 RPM's with stock tires and the 4.10 gears. Obviously this will vary with terrain and speed. That is just an average at 60 MPH and flat terrain.

I hope this helps!

4:10 is the optional gear for the Rubi auto. Mine is the same. a bit over geared for stock 32"s. But when you go 35"s. No regearing needed.

speed limit here is 75 on the highways.
