hey post pics of your 4 door with 33s
If your running 33's on your 4 door, post some pics for all of us to see. I am trying to decide whether I want to go with 285/70 17s or putting spacers on and running 33x12.50s.

You won't be able to tell a difference in height. A 285/70 is 32.6" and most 33x12.50s are very near 32.5". The only noticeable difference is the width with the 12.50 being 0.75-1" wider.
If you need spacers with 33x12.50, you'll need them with 285/70s.

Kind of a wierd lift. Put a 2" BB on then when I put the bumper on it sagged until the extended bumpstops touched. I then ordered 3" lift springs for the front and that brought everything back to level. So it would be 2" spacers in the back and 3" springs in the front.

Here's a pic of mine from this past winter:
That's with the 2.5" TeraFlex spring lift, 3/4" spacers in the front, and 285/70/17s and 1.5" Spidertrax spacers to keep the stock Rubi rims.

Here's mine with around 9/32s of tread on 255/75 r 17's way to little tire. I bought it this way, who ever had it before took the after market wheels and tires off before they traded it. From what I can tell, I am sitting on 3"s of lift so I think 33's or 285/75r17's will work perfectly.

Go with the thickness. Nothing looks worse on a Jeep than pizza cutters.

I guess that is personal preference. Skinnier tires are alot better in most road/offroad situations.

Thanks, it's a maintanence nightmare though. Right now the Deuce needs a new set of front tires. Last winter I got it stuck in the snow, on the road, so with nothing to winch on I tried flogging it and only the front tires dug down to the pavement burning the tread off. With just buying nine wheels and tires for the two Jeeps the Deuce tires are going to have to wait.
