Help with tow hooks....

Afternoon guys,

Picked up an 07 JK a week ago and have started getting it ready for Moab. I want to add a tow hook or 2 to the front but have not seen a bumper like this one has. Please take a look at the pic and tell me if the frame is normally pre-drilled for tow hooks if I cut through this bumper in the square area on the top or if there is a better way to mount a tow hook on the front.

Thanks!

The tow hooks mount to the same place the bumper mounts to if i remember correctly. It all mounts to the frame rails.

You should be able to mount the stock hooks. You'll just need to cut out that indented square in the plastic. This is my stock bumper with stock hooks and the plastic removed along with some minor mods.

You can probably find a used/take off set for cheap.

When you remove the bumper they're sandwiched in between the Tupperware bumper cover and the internal metal frame of the bumper.

I have a spare set laying around and possibly a bumper that works with them (cant remember for sure) but i defiantly have a spare set. I havent been able to get rid of them. Im sure if you pay for shipping or something i can send them to you for free. Im in college for another week so pm me now or in a week and we can set something up. The set is from a 12 but it will work with your 07
