help taillight cover

well i broke my taillight cover (not even doing anything cool, ran into shopping carts in parking lot). didnt bother me thought it gave the jeep a little character. since then wife has been pulled twice and got ticket. went to stealership and they told me they dont just sell cover you need to buy whole taillight unit for $88. does anyone know where i can get an aftermarket one.. any info will help thanks

thanks and unfortunatly i need the driver side and i checked the guy had 20,000 items and no driverside tailight.. do you think the lens covers can be switched side to side and its just the housing that different. or are the lens covers different too..

ill have to check tonight

I know it's a little ghetto, but couldn't you get some red patching tape from an autoparts store to tide you over until it's fixed or replaced? You can try contacting one of the guys on these boards that work at a dealership to see if they'll give you a better price. The part number is 55077891AC from what I could find. I think Bricktop2 can help you.

the cheapest I could find on the web was $61 plus shipping.
