Half or Full Doors?

is this jeep here (on the right) with half doors? With the half doors (on the 07'), will we be able to get roll up windows like with the full?

Half looking doors-

Full looking doors-

edit- placed IMG tags correctly and still a link... how do I properly post images here?

From pics I have seen of the 4 door it looks like the tops of the half doors have the mount holes for the soft window assembly. I doubt the half doors would have roll-up windows.

What you are seeing in the first few pics is glare from ceiling lights. Take a look at the following link, look at the top of the door (bottom part of the picture.. You can see "holes" where the windows (upper half) will plug into.

Cam

thanks, you too

either way I go, I have a employee/discount code good for 5% off invoice. They have a TJ exactly how I want it at the dealership right now, but I am just too tempted to wait for this new one to come out.

Also note the lack of a window fram on the half door. Granted many 2 door sedans have frameless windows. but I doubt that is the case here. I'd say the half door wont have glass windows.

Wish DC offered dual door (full + half) option like the dual top! I would be getting both options.

I agree with Thunderstrike. If I'm shelling out the cash for dual tops, I should be getting both sets of doors. The stock Jeep comes with half doors and soft top; full doors are an option. Somewhere out there is a warehouse full of doors, one of which is keyed for my Jeep......

Don't you save money buying if aftermarket.

Well, yes and no. You can spend $350 on a set of doors made simply of wire and softtop fabric, or $1000+ on a set of plastic doors. Those do cost less money, but are no where near the quality of a set of factory metal OEM half doors. If they were an available option, they probably would only cost another grand anyway. I definately would get both factory Full and Half doors if I could, but I'll settle for the BestTop soft doors.

I'm sure the dealer would happily take your money for a set of half doors tossed in the back.

From factory would be cheaper than dealer

I would think getting the half doors at the dealer would cost too much. They have to order parts at the market rate and paint. From the factory, it could be sold much cheaper I would think.
