Is this guy right?

we are in Moab right now and just finished "tip toe through hell"... with 9 other jeeps. the jeep in front of us today was an '09 Sahara with numerous options and accessories but here's the question... he has 35X12.5/17 MT tires on stock rubicon wheels and claims that there is no rubbing, ever. It's lifted about 3.5"; has rubicon axles, lockers, a rubi crawler reducer and a terraflex sway bar... and probably some other stuff but I know the "will it rub" thread says these tires will rub.... he says it doesn't rub... true? If it's really true, we might get some of those MT's...if it would work for us, it'd be nice since they don't stick out past the fenders, much at all.

there is no way to know except to try to make it rub. maybe his steering locks or bump stops are set up so he wont rub. maybe he has spacers on the stock rims too.

Unless he has the mods listed by Green4dr, he will rub....period.
