GraBars, any disappointments or concerns?

I'm thinking of buying these:

http://www.welcomedistributing.com/J...p-Grab-Handles

even though they are a bit pricey.

Cannot find any return policy on their website and before I pay $97+ shipping wonder if anyone has any insights about them?

Thanks in advance,

They're great. I actually get a ton of compliments on them. They look factory and you can shake the Jeep with them which is pretty good! Only issue is they slightly interfere with the sun visor

Concur with the above. Initially they were a bit weird because I was so used to using the steering wheel or something else, but it's normal now and the way it should have come from the factory in my opinion.

I think you'll find that most people are really happy with the GraBars. They are really solid and fit into the interior really well.

We have them for the same price but free shipping! I can even beat their price with the forum discount. And if you need to return them, our Policy is great for that.

PM for a quote!

I had a little issue with the install, but that is because i forgot lefty loosy, righty tighty. I thought the front set was going to be in my sight line and It would make me mad. But they set up perfect, no sight line issues and they are strong. Like the Cannuck said... you can shake your rig w/ these they are on there that good.

I give them 2 thumbs up.

the way that they are mounted, it's nearly impossible to wack your head on it unless you were trying. And even then, it would be an effort. They are really unobtrusive.

I agree, it really would be a feat to smack your head! They have a picture on their Facebook page of a person hanging off a ledge just by the bar

@R3dRid3r

The only thing I see an issue with is that they could become or block the air bag deployment.. and I'm aware of your limitations as you've stated in another post.. Thou having some sort of firm grabbing bar that allows you to enter and exit the jeep is a good idea.. because the nylon straps would give easily without much support. So we can understand where you're coming from wanting these type of grabars.

This might sound wired and I've actually seen this on a few Jeeps, but the owners are using the stainless steel grab bar via the rest room stalls or showers and mounting them on the side of the jeep.. and using them strictly as sliders.. but in our case, these could be entry and exit grab handles.

Thanks everyone for your insights.

I ordered one this morning from Ryan.

I tried the nylon ones that hang in the corner by the windshield along with one that hangs from the roll cage but they just weren't doing it for me.

Thanks Ryan.

That looks great but at almost double the price and no increased function I'd still have chosen as I did.

Funny I came across this post. I was just watching this guy on youtube on how to install the Spod before I saw this thread and I noticed he had done an installation video on his '13 JK. I thought id find it and link it here just in case you or someone else wanted to watch it and get a little more in depth picture of what they'll look like.

I thought there was a youtube link button on here?
