My family at the time was in need of a new vehicle and my wife had a mini van on the top of the list to haul our young kids around. All I can say is thank lord the 4dr Wranglers came out as I steered my wife over to test drive a new JKU on the lot and it did not take long to convince the wife the Jeep was a great family adventure vehicle! This Jeep has been fantastic to explore around our local backyard with lots of room for the family for many of the outdoor activities we enjoy! It has been a slow process of building it up as the mod funds dry up quickly! Future mods I am looking at are the Bushwacker flat flares, 35’s, 4:88 gears, rear locker, JKS quick discos & rock sliders. She is small compared to other rigs on here…but it has been a workhorse getting us into areas I never dreamed about getting my family to enjoy our backcountry & mountains.

Not much of a storyteller, but it all started with a Blue '06 that turned out to be a lemon. Finally got back on the horse in '09 with the Rubi you see before you.

I've had a ton of fun and learned a lot with this Jeep!

Good luck to all

I just post'em you are the judges

Me too

I once said that as long as it's a JK it could enter but after thinking about it I would hate to have to explain if it actually won!

Good luck everyone

lol. it's a good RC though. At quick glance there's nothing to throw the perspective off.

I took a second look at the knobby tires and thought it looked rediculous as a 40" tire. Actually, I was a little jealous... :haha: Usually guys are proud of the brand of parts they buy. I know I am!

Good looking jeeps, gents. But I voted for the lady.

I wandered in here from the YJ section and voted for "jehnmg" because it was the only one that wasn't a hideous four door.

No, don't bother getting up, I can find the exit myself and yeah, I'll make sure the door doesn't hit me in the *** on the way out.

The wandering was due to my post encouraging the YJ section to venture out and vote for the TJ's and JK's as well. You're all welcome to vote in the YJ contests too. See sig for link.

With attitudes like that about 4 doors, why bother venturing back in time to YJ threads. LMAO.

Says the guy with a profile picture of his Jeep in parking lot and a cell phone listed as recovery gear.
