Whatever the recommended fuel is for the Liberty....isn't the same engine?

Gone but not forgotten: '86 CJ7, '06 Wrangler X, '03 Rubicon, '97 Wrangler, '77 CJ5, '74 CJ5(RIP)...gone and forgotten: 07 JK Sahara Unlimited, '78 CJ5

I don't believe that the engine is from the liberty. The engine is from the caravan mini-van so it is probably going to use regular 87 octane

The Liberty uses the 3.7L V6, the JK will use the 3.8L V6.

The JK has the 3.8, but I don't think either the JK or KJ engines run on 89?

Unless it's a HiPo sportscar, almost all modern engines are tuned to accept 87 octane.

Unless you've got a chip . . .

My old 258 will run on goat pee. Hell, it was runnin' on mud in the crank case for 6 months while the head gasket was blown. It ran as strong as the new motor until the day I took it out and replaced it.

It seems a lot of people call me a fart smeller...but we all know they really mean "smart feller."
