Front door's question

Is it possible to adjust front doors locks that I don't have to slam them every time I need to close them? Both rear doors are fine, only front are required additional power, is it some sort of known issue? Thanks!

(answer with take them away is not valid )

You could adjust the striker's out just a pinch, that might help.

Roll one window done 1/2"--

If you play with the door/fit mechanics---it'll probably start leaking, when it rains--if it already does--no biggee !

I think its just the air trapped in the vehicle that is making it difficult for the last door to be closed. Either roll down the window a bit, pop the top off, or just embrace the slamming!

You don't have to slam. Just picture the door jamb being a few inches inboard of its actual position. If you continue to apply closing force after contact has been made, the door will latch completely without having to slam it. Chrysler vehicles with electric locks and windows need as little door impact as possible.

It is good technical suggestion but not practical, people I am driving usually don't care about all this details much.

Either live with it or do like JIMBOX suggested and crack a window open if bothers you that much; itís just the way it is and nothing will change that fact. Missing with the door lock mechanism will in most likelihood lead to other problems. Oh by the way make sure you have some electrical tape standing by because that will be needed next concerning your doors, all four of them.

I came here to seek an answer to this as well. My wife's '13 unlimited front doors are a ***** to close. Rear doors are no problem, front doors seem like they have not seated properly. Will try to crack the window and see if it helps.

It's normal. With my hard top on I have to slam the doors even passenger always have to be reminded and leave doors open. It's a tight seal that's all. I know because I almost submerged my jeep in 7 feet of water And no water came in!!!!!

I never have tht issue with soft top or if a window is open. And there will be a transition when you have the soft top and don't have to slam them.

The best part is when you hop in a buddies truck and slam the door. And they look at you like "really?" It becomes habit. Another quirky part of owning the best vehicle in the world!!!!

The biggest issue aside from the tight seal is the doors being very light compared to a regular vehicle door. Same speed of swinging+less weight=less momentum! And my 5'2" girlfriend just said if she can close them anyone else should be able to as well!
