Four Wheel Drive

WOW! This weekend we got our first storm of the year in Southeastern Wisconsin, and this is my first vehicle with 4WD. I have to say WOW, I was able to get in and out of the snow and slush with ease.

I know, I know you are all saying well duh, but I am sure happy with my jeep purchase (minus some of the minor flaws, recalls, top issues, etc). I am glad to be a Jeep owner!

I have had nothing but 4WD since I came to Japan 16 years ago (Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon then Suzuki Jimny). This will be my first winter with the Jeep. I am getting Bridgestone Blizak Studless winter tires in 275 70R/16 with winter wheels put on Wednesday of next week. We should get some good snow soon after that. Get out of my way!!!!

Doing it on the left side in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Japan.

We got 10 or 12 inches today and I did a little wheeling on some trails with the front and rears locked this thing was pretty impressive. What a freaking blast

Actually, engine breaking is more effective when in 4WD, but I catch your drift.
