Fog light upgrade

I want to see what everyone say out there, I am looking to upgrade the my 2010 jk fog lights to something a lot brighter but I do want to be able to use them on road. I don't want to piss off other drivers.

Why not just leave the stock ones alone and add some auxiliary ones instead? That way if/when you do run into fog you’ll have something that will actually work.

Jw speaker has some insanely expensive led fog lights for the JK that I believe are legal....

However without a harness they will flicker like the led headlights.

Have you upgraded your head lights? If not I would start there.

Yup like brianjw mentioned, the headlights on our/all JKs suck big time. There are a couple of really good threads here on upgrading the headlights with all the info you’ll ever need if you do choose to go that route.

I replaced my fog lights with Rigid Industries dually lights and couldn't be happier.

Rigid Industries sells a bracket that allows you to mount the dually lights in the factory foglight housing. the bracket (for the pair) is about $59 i think? a great option to do. However i would upgrade the headlights first to some Trucklite or JW speaker lights, if its still not enough then look into the rigid industries conversion.

He wants to be able to use them on the road. Which is why I didn't recommend the rigid brackets for off road lights.

I have a friend that has the rigids in the stock location but they are extremely bright. Just to bright for on road.
