First Mods

I just bought my first Jeep, A 2008 Wrangler Rubicon and I am going to start making my first mods.

I think I want to start off with new bumpers and a winch because my front bumper is already dented and I think it's a little less intensive than a lift so I will be able to get used to working on it and learn a few things before I do other mods.

What should I know before I install new bumpers and a winch and what types would you recommend?

Join a local jeep club go to meetings they know local spots and what is best for that terrain most stock Rubicons are equipped enough for most of trails you will run on as a beginner and when you wheel with a club you will have a lot of help and people to guide you. Start there and slowly build as your ability improves . If your gonna wheel it buy a evap canister guard. If it dose not have rocker guards get some. (when I bought my Rubicon used somebody removed the guards and put on steps. I just ordered some).
