Firewall access?

Who has found a way through the firewall on a 6-speed?

Unless there is a difference between auto/manual, there is a large grommet directly under the battery. Use a coat hanger or automotive radio antenna, tape the wire to it and then fish them through the grommet. Be careful not to use anything sharp, you don't want to harm the existing wires.

If you decide to drill a hole, don't pick a place to low on the firewall, unless you don't intend to ford any water.
