A few pics of my jk

Got bored and took some pics of the JK. I don't think i've taken any since the body lift...and yeah i know drive way shots suck, but you get the idea

Please enjoy the show and let me know what you think

notice gap in rear bumper from body lift

tinted front blinkers

removed JEEP emblem

close up of bumper gap

painted body lift spacer flat black to make it less noticable

and yes it gets dirty

Is your Jk a 6spd or auto. If it's auto, did you have to do anything special with the shifter after the body lift?
Looks great BTW

thanks for the compliments...

I have an automatic... there is nothing you need to do with an automatic. However, for the stick you need to trim the boot around the shifter.

I am not a huge fan of body lifts, esp. on the JK, but you know, I don't know if its because yours is black or what, but yours looks good...

Looks great, but some would say its too clean and shiny for a Jeep.

How did you tint your blinker's ?, they look cool on black.

Looks cool Grant. Like the body lift, was it a pain to install?

Yep, looks great...but way too clean. You're doing way too much detailing after wheelin. Er, you are getting it dirty every now and then, right?

Also while you are blacking out stuff you should put the JEEP back on front but black it out. that would look good on that black jeep.

NightShades on the blinkers?
Any reason you chose not to do the side blinkers too?
Love those black chrome wheels on your black jeep!

Looks good but I think you need to do the 30 dollar grill mod to make it all flow together =)

Why do you have to trim around the shifter?

Thanks again for the compliments...

Here are some answers to some of the questions posted above:

I did use the VHT tint spray on the blinkers and added a couple coats of clear coat. I love how it came out.

I didn't get to the sidemarker lights yet. Just haven't got around doing it. Appears to be a bear to remove the sidemarkers. I don't want to just tape around it and spray paint them. I'll do it someday.

I do get the jeep dirty every now and then. I like to keep it clean. It's usually a weekend thing that me and the wife do. We will wash our vehicles regardless how dirty they are. When i do wheel it, i usually come home and park on the side of the house and hose off all the caked on mud. Once the jeep is a few years old and paid off, i won't give a crap how dirty it is. Just trying to take care of it now.

Not sure why you have to trim the shifter boot on a stickshift when adding a body lift. Its on the instructions if I remember correctly. I didn't pay much attention to it, since i drive an automatic.

I thought about painting the jeep emblem black, maybe I'll do that when i tint the sidemarkers... who knows....
