Bumper thread

I saw a thread on bumpers about a month ago, but now I can't find it. Had lots of pics with info of the various bumpers for the JK.
Would be nice to permalink a decent bumper thread, since that is one of the most popular mods.

I might be missing it...

but is there a thread (or maybe a chart) that cover which year (soft/hard) tops fits which year vehicles?
- to cover questions like -
if I buy a soft 2009 top off of Craig's list, will it fit my 2008?
my neighbor got dual tops and only uses his hard top, will his 2011 soft top fit my 2009?
my neighbor got dual tops and only uses his soft top, will his 2011 hard top fit my 2009?
etc.

I second this idea. I'm new to the JK, just sold an old CJ, and I did a search for new bumpers and dug through about 40 threads looking for info. I wish I could give you one link to use, but I still can't find one, hence the suggestion.

Maybe I'll try to start one...

Oil recommendations for engine, diffs, transfer case and manual/auto trans. When searching there are a few threads on engine oil, very little on diffs and nothing on the rest for the 3.6 V6. Less and less are any parts having oil maintenance done but for us that want to maintain our vehicles properly........maybe I'm not searching well but I'm surprised how little maintenance is done in house for Jeeps. I'm finding it so simple to work on due to access.

addition to will it rub

Hi, specifically purchased a Rubicon with 3 inch lift to be used with 35 tires because that is what I read on the will it rub section.

I come to find out that I could have saved money and gone with tubed fenders, stock lift, maybe a 1 inch body spacer, and still kept the 35 tires if I had rims with proper offset. My point being, please add a comment that Stock JK, 35 tires no lift with proper wheel backspacing and tubed fenders, wont rub. Thanks,

I looked through the FAQ and didn't see anything about vehicle height. I want to get a JK and install the AEV 4.5" system with 37" tires, but don't know if it will fit in my garage.

I have this. All of the torque specs, if that is what you meant.
JLCO8JK, would you like me to e-mail this to you?

*includes a free torque wrench from HF!* HaHa!
