Everybody look at the F.A.Q. and tell us what it needs!

It would be of great help to me and all who frequent this forum if you would look at the
JK F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions / Will It Rub and Links to Popular Threads!
and post here what you think should be added

Some of the threads we could use are,
Details of the 2011 jk differances over other years,
Builds from some of our newer members,
Installations of some of the newer products,
And any up-dated troubleshooting and maintinence information.
Thanks' for your help

How about a post on capacities, fuel, oil, coolant, even wiper reservoir?

I just spent too damned long trying to confirm my memmory of fuel capacity (and I was wrong!)

Links to HILLDWELLER's headlight shootout thread and the LED auxiliary light thread would be nice to see in the FAQ.

How to retain factory radio while adding aftermarket speakers/amp to Jeep with infinity sound...I will put together a write-up when I have some free time and some more coffee, if this is something others would like to see.

How about a section for free/nearly free upgrades (mesh grills, homemade stubby bumpers etc..)

That's in there already, towards the bottom of all of the links...browse through, though, and see if you have any ideas that aren't already listed!

You are right my bad, it'd be cool if you included a link to a write up on doing things like the grill and stubby

You need to change the title. It should flash in bright red and say, "Gotta question? LOOK HERE FIRST!!!"

My vote: more data on wheels and tires. Great info on the almighty 35"s but not so much on smaller or bigger and the advantages/specs/etc. Likewise on wheel size vs tire fittment.

I know we are confined to the forum backend for this, but it would sure be nice to move this information to a wiki format. Discussion forums are great for threads and freeform discusison, but they really suck when it comes time to format, organize, and present information in an easily searchable and browe friendly format.

This gripe isn't a JF gripe, its a general limitation of a thread based forum. Where I used to work, we let information brew in the forum for a while, then it was migrated into a structured format. Problem with THAT was its hard to structure opinions (which is better, Auto or Manual?).

Anyway, the FAQ is a good consolidation, but I seldom use it due to the amount of digging and skimming needed to find the information.

Great ideas everybody
If you start a new thread to fill a need just put a link in here and when the thread has enough posts to provide the answers I will add it in.
If you see a tread that is in the F.A.Q. and is no longer worthy of being there i.e. the pic's are all gone or the links don't work, let me know so I can fix or remove it.

I was thinking about this just the other day!
All I could come up with that would actually work is to give it a bump to the top on a daily basis
I think the title should stay because as of right now when I google "JK FAQ" ours is at the top of the list!

Thanks for the help and keep the suggestions coming!

It would b nice 2 know what manufacturer's 15" rims will work on JK rotors. The FAQS say that some may fit, but we should make a running list of ones that work for sure.
Adding this link to the "some 15" rims will work" would probably do the job
