Electronic Throttle Control
OK, here's the deal. Just tried to start my JK with just over 1000 miles on it. All it did was turn over. I got it started once. After it did, a red lightning bolt came on flashing which indicates a problem with the E.T.C. Just curious if anyone has had this problem yet. I'm bringing my rig to the service dept in the morning but am out of town for a Funeral, great friggin timing for something to go wrong. This is really just a rant of how frustrated I am, but if anyone has any input or experiences with this problem, I would like to know I'm not alone and my that it's not just my bad luck re-emerging.

Just realized that this is the problem everyone else is complaining about. I guess I just wanted to fit in.

Me Too
My lightning icon has lit up a few times also. I had the jeep in for its first service last week and they picked up a bad switch on their diagnostics. They have put the part on order and I continue to drive. I took a road trip this weekend to my place in the mountains and the lighting "flashed" and stayed on several times. I did not notice any real problems, and averaged over 18 mpg with some 90mph cruising.
