Door seals, door surrounds? Top help

I have a quesion for those forum members with both tops or soft tops. My JK came with only the hard top option. I knew I wanted to go with a safari top so I wasnt worried about it. What they didnt tell me was I would need these door surrounds or seals? so the top would fit right and no rain come in between the door and the roll bar. Do you know what the proper name for these are and where you can get them cheap? Thanks in advance for the info.

hey...

how weather resistant is this combination: Bestop safari top/windjammer/duster cover??????

could it be used all summer long with typical rain??

And is the door surround spoken about the OEM surrounds that come on a soft top vehicle??

Thanks.

Yes the surrounds are the OEM surrounds that come on the soft top. The top is weather resistant. If I had the surrounds I wouldnt have any issues with the rain.

I am thinking about the safari top too, I called my dealer and I can buy the door surrounds from their parts dept. for ~$100.

I was thinking of buying the soft top, but it can get very expensive, but it sound like the safari top with the door surrounds and the cover for the back will give sufficient rain protection.

If you can buy them for $100.00 dont miss out . As a matter of fact buy two sets and I'll buy one from you.

If you have the 2 door the windscreen seals pretty nice. If you have the 4 door the windscreen has an 8" gap on each side. The water usually just rolls off though while driving. See the attached picture
