Having trouble with my electric door locks on my JK. Has anybody changed these?

Not sure what type of problem you are seeing, but my passenger door and tailgate would not unlock with either then remote or from the switches inside. Driver door worked normally. It was under warranty so I took it to the stealership – they fault was an internal short to the integrated power module, for what that is worth.

I doubt there's any such thing as aftermarket power door locks.

What kind of trouble are you having?

I have a 2012 Sahara. So far I haven't had any issues whatsoever other than a squeaky drivers seat and a faulty power door lock switch on the passenger side. I give the drivers seat a squirt of lubricant every now and then but I haven't been in to the dealer yet for the lock switch. Power locks do function from the drivers switch however.

The Power Door locks and the door latch are all one unit. Pretty simple to change and Jeep has had this style and Problems for many years...

Aftermarket is made by Dorman, they are very screwed up with there cross references etc, here is a sample for 2010 Wrangler: They are around half the price of Mopar

Make : Jeep OE # : 55363472AA, 55135606AB, 55363472AB, 55363472AF Orientation : Front Right Type : Integrated Door Latch Actuator Brand : Dorman - OE Solutions

The mopar p/n's above are listed to fit 2010 Wrangler per Mopar, but Dorman says no fit...they have always been screwed up, prob cause Mopar p/n has always been hard to find or read til now...lol

My drivers door will not work off of switch or key fob. All others work fine. Sounds like some of you guys have had the same issue. I will check into Mopar, but also the aftermarket piece. I will save a buck if it is the same quality. Thanks for the ideas.

Time to bring this back to the top
Is there any way to check this issue before taking the door apart and ordering a part. I have the same issue. All my locks work with the FOB and off the door switches but my drivers side does not lock or unlock
Thanks
