Door fit/Interchangeability

Ok. I'm really reaching here, but...

I've been considering pulling the trigger on a set of soft doors for my 2012 JK.
While discussing this topic with a fellow Jeep owner that I happened to meet in a parking lot this afternoon, he tells me that he has a set from an '83 CJ that are mine for the taking. I realize that this is a long shot, but what are the chances that I could use these on my JK? Is it possible that they'll fit? Would they fit with minor work? Am I be wasting my time thinking of this as a possibility?

Any input would be appreciated.
Even if it is only to tell me that I've a better chance of finding a snowball in Hell...

way more work. Cj and a Jk doors are far from being even close.

The best top door that are two part are expensive. what is not anymore. ours we love. might not ever use a hard door again, ever. I did not get the door surounds. To me no need. whats a little water that may blow through. no carpets no worries.
