Does anyone NOT put back in the torx screws when you put your doors back on?

Just took my doors all for the first time and wondering if there was any problems to leaving the torx screws out? Not that it's a hassle to take out but just wondering if anyone leaves them out. Also, can anyone recommend some inexpensive side mirrors that I can easily attach. Thanks!!!

I took mine off and they've been in the center console ever since. It's not like the doors are going to fly off going down the road or anything....and any thief worth anything that is specifically stealing jeep doors already knows he needs a torx bit to take the locks off.

I took mine off over a year ago, and they've never been put back in. In fact, I mailed them to a member here on JF. I don't even own any of them any more.

I took mine off two years ago. No rattling, no problems.

They only go back on in the winter....but for no reason. They don't need to be there.

I haven't a clue where mine are. As for mirrors, try the Olympic ones...think you can get them from Quadratec.

hmmm didn't know this. i really wouldn't mind if my doors were stolen either, i could get half doors with the insurance money. but as previously said any thief looking for jeep doors already knows to bring a torx..

Took them out over a year ago. Waste of time having to remove them every time just to take the doors off.
