diggin the jk

Bought an 08 jk last Thursday, took up to the trails yesterday and was totally impressed with its capabilities. That bds "software locker" is pretty amazing! This is my 4th Jeep so in no way am i a newb. I was crawling up stuff with a stock jk that i couldn't with a lifted yj with a winch. All i got to say WOW!! With some armor on the belly, these things are almost unstoppable.

I'm glad you're so stoked, Sid! My 08 X will crawl rocks and ford mud holes the TJ's and YJ's in the group just spin on. I just can't seem to break the habit of giving it lots of throttle Old habits!

I'm just here for the gasoline. --Max

I had the same experince with my '09 JK UL Rubi when it was new. They really are amazing and after we build them we often forget just how good they are straight off the sales floor. I wheeled last weekend with a couple who have a TJ rock crawler w/1 tons, Rock Krawler long arm, etc. They scored a pristine 2010 JK Rubi UL which they want to use as a DD and mild trail runner. By the end of the weekend they were amazed how well it did.
