This is on a Charger - so I'm sure that all will not apply, but the concept should be the same.

I'm not entirely sure why they used that type of LED if clearance is an issue.

Good find!

Here is the thread I told you about earlier

Those were my thoughts exactly - seems as though the LEDs used by the OP of this thread would be more logical, though the color choices are limited.

That's a pretty cool setup on those controls, I like the dual color knob

Touché!

In any case, this makes me want to swap my LED's - but I can't decide on a color.

[QUOTE=dsy;12487623]Yea sorry forgot to mention that part of. While I had the overlay out, I cut out the dark plastic windows that are part of the overlay over the LCD display windows and glued in a piece of red screen gel. I originally started out by just putting a layer of the screen gel between the LCD display and the overlay, but that made the display too dim to see in the daytime. By removing the dark film from the overlay and just running the screen gel it came out just right. I spaced on taking pictures of that

Where do you get screen gel from?

What are the bulb types for the heater knobs and everything like that? Like the shifter too, and the radio. Id like to get them all an amber orangish red color. Definitely going to do the gauges red like the OP
