Custom Grab Handles

i made this last night out of 550 paracord. the handle has over 25 feet of cord in it making it extremely sturdy. i used two nylon sinch straps (camping type) to weave the handle through and attach to the roll bar. to test the strength i held on and let most of my 185 lb weight be supported by it. it seemed to hold up fine. total cost to make these was around $7 and about an hours time. i also attached an image of a clip on zipper pull assist i made to aid in soft top removal. let me know your opinions of both.

I made some, and Ive never braided in my life. Once you get the hang of it, you can whip them out real quick.

They are all over etsy in any color combination you could want... I can't wait to order a set for mine. They also make the door webbing to keep the doors from swinging way out, same for the trunk for non-automatic window/lock versions.

Walmart sells paracord dog collars for about $3-$9 in several different colors.
Just belt them around your roll bar and you have cheap and easy handles.

I am wondering how to get the braided paracord to be connected/attached to the roll bar?

Thanks,

john

With the things I have seen you build you will be more than capable of making paracord grab handles. Id really like to see your take on them and how you do them. The attention to detail and fit and finish you have is amazing.

OP do you know what weave that is that you did on the red and black?
