Crown D30 Axle Shafts and Joints

So while saving up for a rear locker for my generally underequiped JKUX, I trashed my D30 ujoint and shaft ears on a recent run. I know I should upgrade but:

Crown Automotive is producing an OEM replacement being sold brandless on numerous sites. It is $180/side compared to $300 for mopar next gen which is about the same as chromo. I was told by a vendor that shall remain nameless that it's the same as mopar without the stamp. I did not ask if it was literally the same or just made to the same or to meet meet the min. spec.

So without a novel about who rescued me, who gave free parts to get me off the trail, and who missed work to go back out on the recovery, not to mention chinese this, and cheap bastard that:

Does anyone have any real information or actual experience with the quality of Crown D30 axle shafts and u joints?

and while I am asking stupid noob questions: anyone do chromo just on one side to replace a broken stock one?

I recently had to replace the passenger side shafts. Used the crown ones. I did it for peobably different reasons.....I didn't want to throw quantities of money at the dana 30 because ill upgrade to another axle in the spring. But the quality seemed "standard replacement". Went in fine and are working fine.
