Corbeau Seats

Well I asked on a few forums last week to see if anyone had put in corbeau seats. I really wanted to see how they looked, if they were more comfortable and worth the $$$, and how much of a PITA it would be to install them.....Especially the seat belt chime and air bag sensors.......well none of you would be my guinea pig so I did it myself!!!!
Yes, if to save $$$ , fabing your own brackets like I did....IS a BIG PITA!! But to tell the truth...I love spending time in my garage with my JK!!!
SOOOO, Final product....NO Seatbelt lights, No air Bag warinings, the seat is Fully adjustable very comfortable and a HUGE improvement over the factory seats. This coming week I will put in a new bar behind the seats for the shoulder harnesses to strap to. Currently they are strapped to the floor but it is not as safe as a correct install and berfore you rag me it will be fixed by next week and I will post now pics of the bar. Anyway...What do you think?? O and YES that is my 3 year olds jeep in the background of pic 2

They look really good man. I've got Corbeau seats in my 73 Camaro and love them. Luckily for me, they sold a bracket for the 73. I'm impressed that you fabbed your own. They look right at home in your JK.

Corbeau does sell new mounts that replace everything from the bottom of the seat to the floor.....problems if you have air bag sensors etc. OR you could buy the mastercraft seat brackets the bolt patterns on the bottom of both brands of seats are exactly the same so it would work but the mastercraft brackets are 100 bucks each.....yeah I know spend a grand on seats and skimp on brackets but I hate to pay for something I can do myself. I paid 25 bucks for the steel tubing and kept full factory functionality.
Thanks for the comments.

Those seats look great!!! How do they look with the stock backseat?

Are you still liking your adventure trailer? Saw a pic of yours on their website a while back.

Thanks, I havent had the rear seat in for a while, I like having the duster cover back there and my kids don't ride in the JK much. They do sell the fabric by the yard so that you can customize your interior or cover other seats so I think I might just re-cover it to match the front ones. Now that I have the 5 point harnesses in the front the wife wants me to put some back there for the kids so I may just change out the seat and put a couple bucket seats back there as well.

I have upgraded the trailer a bit.....still loving it, I haven't seen my pics on their web site I may have to go check that out. Thanks for the heads up and let me know when you can make it back to CO to hit some more trails.
