Clock spring issue (warranty???)

Just got told by dealership that my extended warranty that I purchased when buying rubicon covers 600 parts except the clock spring and total would be a little under 5 bills.
Anyone hear anything for his except 2007 being repaired?

also google it, there is a lot of interesting info on 07 and recall, I was told one time that I needed one also, it was bs
