Clang clang goes the soft top latch

First time taking the JKU on highway (65-75 mph), maybe I did something wrong?

I put my soft top down, used Velcro straps, but the wind was knocking the front latch connectors all over the place. Is there a simple fix (besides going deaf to music) to fix this problem? Seems like a simple locking position or rubber band would fix?

Block of foam and a rubber band? Only a rubber band? Twist ties? I have the same problem but haven't done anything about it yet. Wonder if anyone has an ingenious idea.

Try folding the fabric a different way when you put the top down. I've never had that issue before. But I know that how you fold it as it drops can make a big difference in how flush it rests against the back of the tub.

Flip the latches the other direction. I know how stupid it sounds.

I've flipped the latches other direction and this works for a bit, until I come to a stop and the latches flip down again. Then back to the rattle!

Hey porterror,

Do the latches seem like they are loose and could be tightened? Iíve posted a link to the Mopar Youtube channel below. There are several videos that explain how to raise and lower your Soft Top.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

My supertop doesn't do that. The latches are stiff enough to stay where you put them. There is always the boot option...
