do thry make clear corner lights yet? i have looked everywhere and cant find any

They do not make any clear lenses anymore for anything. DOT banned them...

o ok but i know they make them for all kinds of other vehicles on ebay and i think in the 4 wheel drive hardware book

They ban alot of stuff for vehicles that you can still buy,,,,for off highway use only

I've got clear corner lenses for my TJ, but with amber bulbs, so when they light up they are "clearly" colored. The description on the Quadratec site says they are street-legal, DOT-approved with amber bulbs. Not sure if this is just a sales pitch or if they've really done their homework.

I've looked up the CA DOT codes as to the requirements for the corner lights and they were a little ambiguous as to whether a clear lens with an amber bulb is kosher. So far I've not been stopped or questioned, though.

Yeah I had clear corner lights on my XJ and I remember the inspection people giving me a hard time. To which I would just point to the amber ones that I kept in the back and say "oh sorry, just give me one minute" and they would just sake there head and pass me. As for the police pulling you over for it, thats just not something that I would worry about.

what size are the lenses? it can't be that hard to fab on up from a circular reflector thing.
