Chrome....

Yeah, someone has to do it... I don't take her offroad quite as much as most of the rest of the Jeep community, so may as well be me that goes Chrome... The wheels are a start... If anyone else has any chrome parts that they are not sure they want, gimme a hollar... I'd be willing to trade my black KC covers for some chrome ones...

To me, the pics just don't do it justice... I'll get some better ones when the sun is shining and she's sparkling...

Thanks bro.... after giving it some thought (and windexing these down) the other set I was going to get were WAY too intricate and would have been such a PITA to keep clean... Things always seem to work themselves out for the best somehow...

Now, let's get some nice weather for some top down time...

They are the Delta Quadbar replacement Xenon's... They have a blue glow to them when you look at them indirectly from where the beam is...

When they are turned off, they look a bit blacked out with a blue tint... They are very cool looking lights...

Rumor has it, that Chrome won't get you home. lol

Looks nice man. I'm all for Jeeps that aren't cookie cutter versions of each other. I've heard it all, when it comes to the 22's I've got, but I just have to chuckle since half the people making the comments have the EXACT same rims and tires. All I have to say to that is:

Baaaaaaaa

hijacker!

How much $$ did you land your Delta's for. I went to order a set of these and they were over a grand, but I was then told that the grand was for a Delta HID kit with ballasts. I had Delta's on my TJ and paid under $200 for them - obviously not HID. I can't find anything like that for the JK.

Mine are NON-HID... I think I paid about $122 for them... I believe they may be the same light at the TJ with a harness for the JK... Here's a link to them...

Halogen

There is a second bulb in the housing that my be a running light... I'd love to do something with that... Either get them wired up for running lights or turn them into blinkers... Some strobes would kick ***...

Thanks bro... Yeah, at first I was gonna follow the trend, but hey, it's my Jeep, I'm gonna build it the way I want so that it will fit MY needs and I'll ber happy because I have what I want, not because I built the Jeep someone else likes...

"Be True To Thine Self"

Post some pics of those 22's...

Chrome

I was hestiant as well and I was getting a great deal on some aftermarket wheels. When I went to order, my top 2 selections were not in stock. So I went with my 3rd and I am very happy.

Regardless of the finish of my wheels, I still plan to drive and wheel my Jeep the same.

The plan is to get it lifted 4-4.5" (having trouble deciding which lift, and waiting to see what people seem to think drives the best, but leaning towards the RE long arm), and put 37s on it, but for now the 33s do really well on the highway and around MD/DC.

You know, we hear this sentiment, as well as "your mod looks great, who cares what anyone else thinks - build it the way you want" on here A LOT. I mean, really, A LOT! I have to wonder why. Both of these kinds of statements explain the blatantly obvious. Of COURSE you're going to make the mods you want. Why would you ever do anything else? Stating that someone should do this is kinda like suggesting that one might get wet by going outside in the rain. Repeatedly. Like, every other thread. To me, it's a rather strange sociological curiosity.

As for the Jeep - glad you put a full-sized spare on there. I see so many chromed out Jeeps with big tires that have the original stock tire on the back and I think, "you know, if I see them on the side of the road with a flat, I am NOT stopping to help them." (:

4+ inches of lift and 37's is gonna be sweet!!!

Those rims make those 33's look like Lo-Pro's...

Yeah, the pic isn't great, they don't look quite as lo-pro in person, but it'll look even better lifted with a bit more tire on there. Course it still will be too much rim/too little tire for the purists. lol
