Try posting in the TJ forum. The 06 is a TJ the JK is the new for 2007 Jeep.

I'm stock, but I think that is more lift than you need. I think 3.5" is plenty for running 33's. I know some guys run a 2" BB with a 1" BL and run 33's. I also believe they say not to go over 3.5" without going to a long arm kit. Like I said post in the TJ section or maybe more appropriately, in the lift and tires section and you'll get the answers you need. Sounds like a good way to get moabs though.

First off, welcome home to your brother... he certainly deserves that Rubi!

Now, your brother's 06 is actually a TJ... the JKs are 07's. Try this forum and I'm sure you'll find what you need!

EDIT: Looks like Fargo beat me to it... so, yeah-- what he said!

4" of lift should be plenty for 33s. You dont really need to go over that.

my friend has 2" spring and a 1" BL and clears 33's alright. i think 4" would be better though, but it costs more $$$ and involves a little more work.

I thought the new JK had 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern? If so they won't work on your XJ.

EDIT::nevermind i reread the starting post, he's talking 06, wrong forum.
