Center Console Lock doesnt lock??

Hey guys new to the JK crowd, trying to figure out how to make my center console stay locked.

I can put the key in and turn it one way, the button wont push anymore but the lid still opens. Any easy way to fix this or do I need a new lid?

And if thats the case, what are some good aftermarket locking center consoles for the JKs?

Tuffy Security makes a locking center console. I don't have one but if it fits your Jeep, they are suppose to be pretty good.

The center console lock is a piece of junk. I believe this topic has been covered if you were to perform a search. I personally removed the locking device because mine was also not working and mounted my CB radio in there or there are some aftermarket options if it's that big of a deal to you.
