Has anyone who installed the Bushwacker flat style flares had any issues with the adhesive tape after the install? I want to order a front set only, but am a little concerned about the tape part. Thanks.

stock tires and wheels are long gone, as prior to last year this was never an issue with the state inspection. As for my friends they all have tires as wide as I do so I'm sort of stuck, I was considering buying a spare set of tires and wheels just for inspections, but that seems a bit over the top. Truthfully my Jeep is lifted to high as well for the state inspection, and its not even lifted that high its only got a 3inch lift. This state is getting out of control.
Note that there is a difference between the Bushwacker and Xenon fenders other than width. I ride with some guys and 1 has the Bushwacker and another with the Xenon. I haven't looked at them extensively, but the Bushwacker are harder and flex a little but hold their shape more when pushed or brushed against. The Xenon's are real flexy.
I have looked into both and can't decide if I would rather them flex more or less.
