not intending to thread jack AT ALL...but since the topic is bumpers and it could in a way be useful to everyone. Are stinger hoops illegal to run? same with stubby bumpers that dont cover the wheels up front.

I imagine that'll vary from state to state and municipality to municipality. I see plenty of them driving around here. Other places are bound to be more strict.

I really like these bumpers more and more. Few more questions.

1. I'm assuming you remove the front air dam when installing the new bumper. If so, does that mean I need a front skid plate to replace it?
The factory plastic skid under the bumper? Yes that will need to be removed. You can replace it with the skid we offer, or leave it off. Your choice.

We don't offer any non-winch bumpers, or provisioning to hide the winch mounts at this time, sorry.

It will use your factory receiver.

Nope, the structure is a little different between the two bumpers. You would have to upgrade to the tire carrier bumper as a whole.

I really like the made in USA part of the JCR bumpers and they look nice. Anybody seen a discount code or free shipping floating around. Don't mind paying a bit more for Made in America. Also looking at the Bestop bumpers.

ive had jcrs bumpers and sliders for over a year now and could not be happier!!! the fit fine, accept factory fog lights, and hold up well in a collision. Now i wish they would make some corners and fenders!!!!

I really like their full-width prerunner, but I've seen a number of posts suggesting less-than-ideal fit. I also want my future front/rear bumpers to match, but JCR doesn't offer a rear bumper that wraps around to hide the pinch seam.

The 10a bumpers are all metal...pretty nice but not for $875 as a take-off item.

I've go an LOD mid-width bumper on my JK. I like the way it looks, and it is made in America as well. I had some questions about the bumper and called the company before ordering. The owner of the company talked to me and answered all of my questions. He seemed very knowledgeable about what is needed to build a good Jeep bumper, and had a good attitude. He said if I had any questions or any problems to just call, and they would take care of it, so I bought the bumper.
