Bumpers

I'm looking for new bumpers. I like the JRC Mid Width Full Sunk bumper.
https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

Cost is around $500. I don't plan to run a winch, but it's nice to have that as a future option. I like the D-Rings and integrated fog lights. Any other options I should consider (i.e. front skid plate)?

Are there other bumpers that have a similar look that I should consider?

What should I run for the rear? I would want D-Rings and integrated lights. Tire carrier not a requirement as I plan to run 33's, which I believe the stock tailgate will support.

I like the look of the JRC bumpers, too, though I plan to go with AEV. I've always wondered what JRC's quality is like, though, because I never hear anyone talk about having their products.

I like the AEV, but isn't that like $1,000 just for one bumper?-

Yah but like everything else, ya get what ya pay for. I have the AEV premium and it is awesome. The welds are amazing and the coating they use has survived a Canadian winter without any signs of corrosion.
If you plan on keeping the Jeep a long time AEV bumpers are worth the extra.

I like the looks of that bumper too. It would be nice though if it had a hoop on it for when going through heavily overgrown trails and whatnot. I also donít care for when manufactures cutout their logos in things. Other than that it has nice lines and is very clean looking.

I've got the JCR midwidth prerunner. It has several things going for it.

It's made right here in the USA
The quality is great. Good welds, good fit.
When I called them on the phone with questions they actually answered it.

I also have their rear bumper with the rotopax carrier.

I do agree with 1222, I don't like the Cutout logo's, but if it bothered me too much, about 30 minutes with a mig and grinder and that could be fixed.

That is so true and is what I did with my Mopar front bumper a few years back. I cut out a rectangular section around the logo and welded in steel plate and ground smooth.

Anyone have any experience with Paramount bumpers?

They have some great looking options with built in LED lights for around $500

I'm kind of loving the look of this ace bumper. Just the led light gets me worried driving on the road and blinding that crap out of everyone!

Oh I like that ACE bumper.

You can turn the LED's off on the road :P

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40

My bad on getting the name wrong.

I really like these bumpers more and more. Few more questions.

1. I'm assuming you remove the front air dam when installing the new bumper. If so, does that mean I need a front skid plate to replace it?

2. I don't plan to run a winch anytime soon. Do you offer a plate to cover the hole in the full sunk, mid width bumper?

3. I like the "standard" rear bumper you offer. Does that work with my factory tow package, or does it replace my existing tow hitch receiver?

4. Finally, should I have the need to add a tire carrier later, can this be added to the "standard" rear bumper in the future?
