no he had it right the first time, the spring loaded pin I can figure out... just dont know where to get the actuall heavy duty load bearing greasable hinge part to weld the whole assembly too... all I could think of was putting a larger pipe over a smaller pipe, but that would be squeaky after a while... yours is much gooder

Thanks! There is a sticky in the Fabrication Forum of a guy that makes some impressive TJ bumpers.
