Thanks. Move to Denver and I'll give ya a hand.

I don't use blueprints. I grab a tape measure, kinda figure what I want in my head and start cutting, grinding and welding. I usually write down a few measurements to go purchase metal... but I messed that up today and don't think I got enough to build my tire carrier this weekend!

She's a weim, but we think she's pretty great!

Ahh, didn't catch the snout or I would have know the difference. Beautiful color.

Very impressive work. It's gonna look so badass when you get the winch in there.

Thanks.

Got the tire carrier mostly finished up.

It's got room for a 35" tire now and room for a 37 if I flip the mount. The way it's bolted on I can move it out for a wheel with a different offset or wider tire. Still need to move out the rubber isolators, move the plate/light/brake light and a couple little things. Still need to build a jack mount, basket, can mounts, etc. It didn't turn out too bad for the money I have into it.

Do you think you would be able to build skids and rock rails? Hell, I'd be willing to get together and help you out.

Edit: Not asking if you are capable, but more if you are willing to.

Im not too big a fan of stubby bumpers but they are growing on me it seems. I really like the back bumper and tire carrier. Very good job and very neat. Really wish I had the skills to do this myself.

Your work looks professional. I may have missed it, and if I did, I apologize now. Is the front bumper bolted directly to the frame rails? I see where you bolted to a steel plate that is attached to the frame rail. However, I would think a few bolts thru the top plate directly into the frame rails (like factory tow hooks are secured) would be needed if this bumper is going to be used for recovery work and with a winch.

Are there frame tie in brackets on the rear bumper? I have an old TJ and didn't have frame tie ins. I do now.
