I bought an 09 wrangler x last year. My speedo is ten mph under what I'm actually doing. The tires are p255/70r18. I bought a Superchips Flashcal and have been calibrating my speedo. My math says the calibration should be at 32.5 but that's still way off. I'm up to 36.5 and within 3 mph. I'm I missing something? What about gear ratio. My flashcal reads Stock. Is this correct? Any feed back is appreciated.

Gear ratio is irrelevant.
Is your speedo display 10 mph off all the time? Or does it vary?
How are you verifying actual speed?

ronjenx. I'm verifying my speed by digital radar signs on the road. 10 mph over around 60 mph but not so much at lower speeds. Maybe 5 or so at 25-30 mph.

Just for the heck of it, check your speed with a gps device.

I did download speed box on my iPhone and have monitored my speed but felt it was a little slow in responding. I will give it another try tomorrow.
