Best Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier??

Does anyone have any recent thoughts on what are the best quality and design for rear bumpers? I'm buying next week and am willing to pay for the best.

AEV, Expedition One, Rock hard look like they have good ones. There's a couple other ones I'm looking at also. Does anyone have a favorite or opinion on what is the best? I can't decide and am frustrated a bit.

Thank you

I would have to say OR-FAB from my experience. I started out with LOD bumper and tire carrier, but the bumper rubbed on the body and the carrier rattled like crazy. OR-FAB has been solid, even with 2 full gas cans attached.

Well, this is my third bumper. I started wih stock plastic crap, then upgraded to a Mopar Offroad Bumper, 3 years later I decided I really needed a tire carrier and upgraded to the LoD Signature Series Full Width Gen2 Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier.

I LOVE it! It is impeccable quality. Much better than the mopar one I had. And the lights are just awesome. It looks great, functions great, and has tons of modability with mounting jacks, jerry cans, and/or cargo carriers to it.

Not going to say it's the best because I have only had the mopar and LoD now, so I can't say from an ownership experience what is best. But I LOVE my LoD.

They shipped it in a wooden crate within a cardboard box for the main bumper, a second box for the tire carrier, and a third small box with lights and the bolts/instructions. It arrived in great condition.

The powdercoat job looks and feels great. A really good job on the powdercoat.

Bumpers and Tire carrier

I installed WARN Rock Crawler bumpers front and rear. I also bought and installed the rear tire carrier and grill gaurd up front. I think it looks great. If I knew how to attach photo's I'd show ya. Good luck.

I like it a lot.... with the tire carrier too. Triple coated, water tanks in bumper, carries full shovel, jack mount, cb mount (cb mount looks like it would be very high tho, i dont want antenna up that high looks funny to me).

AEV, Expedition One, Rock Hard, Olympic, LoD, Shrockworks

time to eliminate some of these tho all look like nice tire carrier bumpers. It's good to have options. AEV seems like a very professional company which is refreshing in the wild wild west of Jeep after market....

I have the Rugged Ridge XHD bumper and tire carrier. I suppose there's better ones out there though I don't think I'd rather have any of them. Especially considering how much more they'd cost. btw... I also have the matching front bumper.

If you're still deciding about a rear carrier, here's a pic of the AEV w/stock bumper.
