Best mid-mount exhaust

Lets hear from you who have ditched the stock muffler in favor of a mid-mounted one with tailpipe.

Jeeps: Where my 401(k) went to die!

3-1/2 years ago I ditched the "HUGE" stockermuffler and installed a FM 40 cat-back, just forward of the evap can and used long dual pipes out the rear bumper-

Great sound/rap/burble, loud only when crawling with windows down and no drone !

Good luck

Put the flow master cat back on my 2012 3.6l . Sounds great . Easy installation. All pieces are high quality.

I did a 6" dynomax but it was a straight thru design and was very loud. I switched it for one that was offset with slightly smaller pipes and it made a big difference. I just ran a turn down tip off the muffler. I currently run 2 super trap mufflers and did away with the cross pipe and lower cats to gain clearance.

If you learned something new today, you had a good day.
