Best location for a P A speaker?

Been considering as a novelty, installing a PA speaker and was curious about some of the locations that have been tried.

I have this: http://www.amazon.com/Pyramid-SP5-We...keywords=cb+pa

Mounted right in front of my battery. Been running it for over a year and love it.

Just use an external speaker, far easier to mount and sounds just as good. Figure out the wattage your CB puts out to PA, find a speaker rated to that output, and size down if necessary.

P A location

I have a 100w powerhorn mounted on the right side underneath electrical wiring. The access for the firewall is straight back from that so its easy to punch your cord from the cb through. I did mine there because i don't have it conmected directly to the battery, i plug it in to the outlet in my dash.
