Best "hidden" amp location?

I am about to be installing an aftermarket amp, speakers, head unit and subwoofer and I plan to make the subwoofer box as invisible as possible but I am torn on where to put the amp. The amp will fit inside the "trunk" of the JK but as we all know that is not secure at all (which can be changed) and there would be no ventalation for the amp. I was thinking under the driver seat but I figured it might be to visible when the rear doors are off. Has anybody installed an amp in the trunk and put a vent there so the amp can breath. I know the muffler is right below that area too, which might cause problems. Let me know your thoughts.

How big is your amp? If it's the PDX5 or a similiar sized amp it can go in the stock location under the steering wheel.

If you wheel, etc you probably don't want it under the front seat as there's a decent chance it could get wet.

It is approximately 10x10 so that location would not work. If I mount it under the seat or in the "trunk", I plan elevate it so wetness wouldn't be a problem and I like the rocks and not the mud anyway.

Under either front seat elevated would be best.

I just realized what amp you were talking about (Alpine PDX5). I was actually looking into that amp before I decided to replace my head unit. Where under the steering wheel does the stock amp mount because that would be a great place for my amp if it would fit (since it is the same size as the PDX5). Thanks!
